How to Earn Your Certificate
Apply and get accepted
Submit your application at /apply. Acceptance is merit-based.
Contribute for 12 weeks
Merge at least 5 pull requests during the contribution period.
Earn the minimum XP threshold
Hit the program's minimum XP floor — typically 500 XP.
Complete final evaluation
Submit your contribution summary at the end of the cohort.
Receive your certificate
Your verified certificate is issued within 7 days of the program close.
Share Your Achievement
Your ECSoC certificate comes with a unique verification URL and one-click LinkedIn integration. Add it to your profile under “Licences & Certifications” to make your open-source experience immediately visible to recruiters and hiring managers.
