About ECSoC

Elite Coders Summer of Code (ECSoC) is an open-source developer program that connects student and early-career developers with real open-source projects. Running since 2024, ECSoC has delivered three successful cohorts, engaged over 10,000 developers across 30 countries, and facilitated more than 1,000 merged pull requests to open-source software.

Unlike other programs, ECSoC operates with no institutional enrollment requirement, making it accessible to self-taught developers, bootcamp graduates, and anyone passionate about contributing to open source regardless of their background.
